Job Opportunity: Head of Human Resources (HR Manager)Location:Mogadishu, Somalia (On-site)Company:Baano Healthcare TechnologyRole Type:Full-time, Senior LeadershipAbout Baano Healthcare TechnologyBaano Healthcare Technology is building one of the most ambitious digital healthcare systems in Somalia, spanning telemedicine, call center operations, IVR platforms, and enterprise healthcare services.We are now entering a critical growth phase, where execution, structure, and accountability will define our success.The RoleWe are hiring a high-performance HR leader to take full ownership of people, performance, and organizational discipline across the company.This is a build-and-enforce role, not an administrative HR position.You will work directly with executive leadership to:•Build a high-performing team.•Enforce standards across all departments.•Eliminate inefficiency and underperformance.What You Will Be Responsible For1. Building a High-Performance Team•Own end-to-end hiring across all departments.•Set rigorous hiring standards — do not just fill roles; ensure only top-quality candidates are brought into the company.2. Performance & Accountability Systems•Design and enforce company-wide KPI systems.•Lead quarterly performance reviews in collaboration with leadership.•Identify and act on underperformance quickly, firmly, and professionally.3. SOP Enforcement & Operational Discipline•Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the organization.•Drive a culture of accountability across all teams.•Work closely with department heads to identify and eliminate operational gaps.4. HR Systems & Execution Infrastructure•Build structured HR systems, including tracking, reporting, and workflows.•Implement tools and processes that improve visibility and control for management.•Ensure all HR operations are measurable, structured, and scalable.5. Culture & Professional Standards•Build a culture of ownership, discipline, and execution.•Handle employee issues firmly and fairly.•Ensure strict alignment between company goals and team behavior.Who We Are Looking ForWe are not looking for a traditional, policy-only HR profile. We are looking for a leader who:•Has real experience managing performance and teams.•Is comfortable making tough decisions.•Can challenge leadership when needed to protect organizational standards.•Understands that HR is fundamentally about driving business results, not just managing policies.
